Irrigation Water Guide
Lawn Irrigation schedule
Winter: Water during the warmer part of the day to prevent freeze. For example, 8, 9 and 10 a.m.
Spring: 5, 6, and 7 a.m., for four minutes each time. Turn off your sprinklers on those rainy spring days.
Summer: Water around dawn to minimize the amount of water lost to evaporation. For example. 5,6, and 7 a.m. And remember to add watering days gradually as temperatures get hotter. Start with four days in May, then increase watering days to five or six as needed in June, July,and August.
Fall: As early fall days are still quite warm, continue watering at dawn.For example, four minutes eachat 5, 6, and 7 a.m.

Drip Irrigation
Winter: Water up to once a week or every other week
Summer: Water up to3 to 5 days a week (every other day)
Spring/Fall: Water up to2 to 3 days a week
December through February:
Turf
1x weekly 6 minutes each station
Pop Ups 1x weekly15 minutes each station
MP Rotators
End of December through second week in February you may turn turf irrigation off.
Drip Irrigation
1x weekly 30 minutes each station
February through April:
Turf
3x weekly 8 minutes each station
3x weekly15 minutes each station - MP Rotators
Drip Irrigation
3x weekly 30 minutes each station
April through June:
Turf
4x weekly 8 minutes each station
4x weekly 20minutes each station – MP Rotators
Drip Irrigation
3x weekly 30 minutes each station
July through September:
Turf
6x weekly 10 minutes each station
6x weekly 30minutes each station – MP Rotators
Drip Irrigation
6x weekly 30 minutes each station
October through November:
Turf
3x weekly 8 minutes each station
3x weekly 20minutes each station – MP Rotators
Drip Irrigation
3x weekly 30 minutes each station
Irrigation times may need to increase or decrease from the above referenced if temperatures are colder or warmer than normal. The above turf irrigation recommendations are based on an average lawn size of 1000 sf. Owner may need to increase or decrease turf irrigation times if the area is larger or smaller than 1000 sf. This is only a recommendation and is not meant to be an absolute solution to keeping your lawn and vegetation in a healthy condition. Regular maintenance including fertilizing, pest and disease control, and other measures need to be incorporated with your watering plan.
